I'm sorry for not writing sooner and letting you guys without information for so long. I haven't been unfaithful, just, you know there was so many things to do and, then summer came, and then this project, and those deadlines, etc, etc, bla bla bla but to be perfectly honest: blogging is still really not my second nature. Not as much as I would like it to be. But now I’ll try a new approach, and instead of _not publishing_ 5 or 6 lengthy, whole night long, perfectly polished stories (with stunning pictures and diagrams) I will _do publish_ frequently important or simply interesting information on a minimalistic way.
Things around the Sense/Net 6.0 software (and also the company) are getting super involving and interesting as we approach the great debut – the release. With a certain amount of uncertainty we have the following in mind:
Beta 5 – in December
User Defined Lists, Workflows and Templated Field Controls will be the biggest improvements
RTM – 2010 February
Lucene(.Net) based Content Query, Content Query Builder and UI improvements
SP1 – end of Q1 2010
.Net 4.0 Support (WF4 and hosted Visual Workflow Designer)
SP2 – end of Q2 2010
CMIS, Enterprise Search with crawling
The new features listed here are just the most important ones. The complete list in each release will be collected in the release notes document.
