SN7 picker under the hood

Based on our former experience with the pickers in Sense/Net and on our UX researches, it was clear that the picker should be revamped in terms of both usability and customizability, to give developers a configurable and maintainable tool. We decided to rewrite the whole plugin, change the different built-in third party stuff to KendoUI widgets, as this way we’re able to offer a more customizable but also more unified and clear solution to both developers and end-users in all use cases, such as Content, User or Portlet picking. ActionLinkButton templating in SN7

s we mentioned in the previous post about the new Skin System in Sense/Net 7 we are working hard to improve Sense/Net’s customizability and maintainability. We’ve started with the Page Templates and now we’re working on rewriting all the views and controls one by one. Since the ActionLinkButton control is one of the smallest building blocks of Sense/Net and it’s the basic element of the main controls and portlets like the Portal Remote Control, we’ve decided to start with this to work on our new templating method.
